Little girl's ( 2 years old) worried mother came to me to consult about her lost daughter in one of the bigger Department stores in Manila . Bad cards kept on showing up . I couldn't hide my sad feelings about what happened but there were assurances that the little girl will be found - alive! Months later , I learned about the great sadness that has befallen on worried mother . She left no stones unturned for justice to be given her and the kid . She was shopping with some friends in Hongkong when she heard the faint familiar cry of a little girl, sitting in a dirty corrugated box together with other beggars along a crowded street ! With tears in her eyes she lifted up her long lost baby wearing the same play clothes the day she disappeared.The little girl's feet was amputated to the knee and it was not even nicely done by the surgeon.For a young girl to suffer this kind of torture and pain is the most gruesome and heinous crime of all crimes.
