You are aware of how Abraham Lincoln , though born in a poor family , rose to become the President of America because of his self confidence . He was born in a poor family . His classmates used to heckle him for his dress and poverty . Lincoln , unable to bear this humiliation , approached his mother and said ,
" Mother , I am subjected to a lot of redicule by fellow students . Please get me a new dress . " Then the mother told him ,
" Son , we are not well-to-do . You must act according to our family condition . Don't be deterred by other people's taunts . Develop self confidence and uphold your self - respect ."
From that moment , Lincoln strictly followed the advice of her mother . After sometime , his mother passed away . and his father married again . His stepmother was also quite affectionate towards him and encouraged him to persevere on the path shown by his mother . After his father's death , Lincoln , who was aged 16 years then , left home to earn his livelihood and started selling newspapers . Even then also , he continued to uphold his self respect . Seeing his good qualities , his friends encouraged him to contest the elections . Lincoln stood for elections and won with a thumping majority . He was made the President of America . Though he was born in a poor family , he rose to such an exalted position because of his self confidence and self - respect .

The Atlantic eel is born in the deep waters of South Atlantic . It then swims all the way North till it reaches the mouth of one of the North American rivers flowing into the Atlantic Ocean . The eel then moves from salt water to fresh water and swims up the river the long way. It lives there and when the time comes , it starts on the return journey . First it swims and goes back to the mouth of the river and from there it swims south to go to the part of the Atlantic ocean where it was born. Having reached its place of birth , the eel lays eggs and dies. Few know of this remarkable happening in nature , and how God silently guides the eel all the way to a river far from its native place and then finally brings it back to the same spot for " eternal rest ".

Life is a gift of God , and human life in particular is a very special and precious gift given to humans for a specific purpose . " What is that purpose? "
The atlantic eel can give us a hint about this question that both ancient and modern men often asked of himself . The purpose of life is to go back to where you came from . From God you have come, and to God you must return . Life must be so lived that you get back to God. Getting back to God is not at all that easy . The world is where we live. But we must live here in such a fashion that we are focused always on the return journey .If one loses focus , we may catch a " wrong flight " and end up elsewhere . However, we must be aware of the dangers lurking here in this world. Many people catch the wrong flight because they succumb to temptations . One must learn to kill the ego ( edging God Out ) and be able to put ceiling on desires through mastery and control of the mind and the senses.

Life is not meant to be frittered away in making merry , in pursuit of power , pelf and such other infructuous objectives . Instead , life must be so lived that we can return once and for all to our natural habitat , from which we have stayed away far too long .

This is an inspiring story about a boy , a polio victim who lives in one Asian city far away. Because of physical disability , he could not attend school . Feeling that he was becoming a burden to his family , this boy became very depressed . To forget his misery , he began to teach himself English by listening to BBC . Soon , he picked up English very well . Hearing of this , BBC presented him with a short wave radio . After this he began to learn German , once again by listening to the radio . In this way , this boy taught himself many things . One day , he started teaching the son of the maid servant who worked in his house . Word spread , and other poor boys came to him for instructions . Soon he found he was running a small school at home . Seeing this , relatives who once came from America donated this boy a wheel chair . Other boys who once avoided this polio victim now became his friends and , forming a service club ,they began to do service all over town . This is an example of what sheer determination and self will can do . This noble man lives in the city of Madras , India .

Once a greedy person owned a duck that used to lay a golden egg everyday. One day he ripped open the stomach of the duck thinking that he would get many golden eggs at a time.

Today man also is indulging in such foolish and greedy acts. Instead of being satisfied with what nature is giving him , he is aspiring for more and more , and in the process , he is creating imbalance in Nature.

Natural calamities are taking place in the world today . You are aware of the devastations caused by earthquakes and Tsunamis in Japan , China, New Zealand .Thousands of people lost their lives and properties . The reason for this is that Man is entertaining excessive desires . God maintains perfect balance in His creation . In God’s creation , the earth and the oceans are endowed with balance . But man is indiscriminately exploiting the earth for mining , extracting oil , and nuclear tests ! Everyday thousands of tons of fish are caught from the oceans. This indiscriminate exploitation of nature results in the imbalance of the earth , which is playing havoc with human lives. Due to excessive greed for wealth , man is disturbing the balance of the earth. Hence , the earthquakes !

Today , scientists are interested in new inventions . Rapid advancements in science and technology have led to imbalance of Nature . As a result , there are earthquakes , tsunamis and no timely rains . Science should be utelised only to the extent needed . Science has its limitations and crossing those limits leads to danger .

Several nations have expressed their love and concern for the earthquake victims . Neighboring countries sent loads of goods , grams , reliefs , etc.. Let us express our love thru prayers and helping the needy . Love is our nature , just as balance is very much essential to nature , so also love is very much needed for man . Make proper use of the natural resources and do not put them to misuse . We should enjoy nature according to our need . Do not rob nature of its resources to satisfy your greed . Let Nature’s stomach be not ripped open just to get the golden eggs !

Based on birth dates, psychic Danny Cinco said celebrity couple Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion's relationship will last seven years, TV Patrol World reported on Wednesday. "Piolo is a fire snake and KC is a wood ox. I see compatibility during (the first two) years... wala dapat pagbabago (nothing should change). Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're
always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes
along the way, they get hurt, and become smaller / older, and eventually
pass on. Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse),
but parents are still happy with what they do for their children, and will
always hate seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad.


All our lives, we've been the pencil. It pains me to see the eraser, that
is my parents, getting smaller and smaller each day. For I know that one
day, all that I'm left with would be eraser-shavings and memories of what
I used to do and have.

Over a hundred entries of masterpieces showed up but only two gave a very good impression on His Majesty. The first painting was a scenic view of crystal clear lake . The still water reflects the tall trees and grand mountains . White drifting clouds and flying birds decorate the azure sky .The second painting was a rain forest and a magnificent view of cascading waterfalls and an inclement weather .

It was a surprise for every one . The King chose the second painting ! The King , as he looked closer , saw something behind the curtains of waterfalls - a bush with a nest . In the nest were little baby birds being fed by the mother bird .

Peace is poise under pressure and the acceptance of what is . Peace is not the absence of turmoil , conflict , war and climate changes . It is the nature of the world to give us pain and misery . Inner peace and equipoise is " peace " in the midst of un-surmountable problems , and even in situations that would shake the fundamentals of one's beliefs . Or even at the point of one saying - " God , Why hast thou forsaken me ?"

There is no peace if you don't forgive and forget.
There is no peace without love.
There is no peace without truth.
There is no peace if there is so much hurting going on.
There is no peace if you don't do the right thing.

The greatest injustice in the world today is when you can not teach a child to understand the meaning of the word - " Peace "

To all the people out there seeking for peace , affirm by saying -
" There is peace within me , there is peace within me , I am peace !

Why Do Psychics Charge Money For Their Services ?

This is something that has circled the paranormal community for years and it doesn't just involve psychics, it encompasses all spellcasters, conjurers, etc. There is an ideology that if someone has a special gift they should share it for free. That real psychics don't charge money for their readings, real spellcasters don't charge money to cast, and real conjurer's don't charge money for their spirits. I have always found this argument ridiculous, it is people looking for something for nothing and they want to guilt the practitioners into believing their special gift was given them to provide the world with free services.

You would not go to work everyday for free and neither can anyone who works in the paranormal community. They have to charge for their services because just like you they have to eat, they have families to care for and they should be compensated for the services they provide you. However, you will find that most psychics, spellcasters and conjurers do a LOT of charity work and give things away for free.

Everyone has to have a way to earn a living and there should be no exception because someone is born with or has developed a special talent. Actors, lawyers, doctors, advertising executives, designers, architects... any trade or talent has to charge for the services they provide. The cost of the services of a psychic, spellcaster or conjurer will vary depending on what they feel is fair compensation for their time and talent. Of course supply and demand has a great deal to do with it too. A famous psychic may charge over 1000 Php for a reading whereas your local psychic may charge you 100 Php. It doesn't mean that your local psychic is any less gifted than a famous one it just means that their time is more in demand.

You can't expect someone who does what they do for a living to do so for free, in any profession, but with the paranormal and metaphysical community you will find for the most part they have generous hearts and for loyal collectors and clients they will give you many free gifts in return.
